What can I do with an E30 1989 BMW 325iX AutoMatic-All wheel drive as far as mods?

Hi, im planing on buying an BMW 1989 325IX Automatic with 175K miles on it. Its really beat up, previous owned by a family member for several years. They've done lots of work on it (replaced parts to get running smoothly), but its still questionable as
