What would you do if your downstairs neighbor pounded on the ceiling and radiator when your baby was crying?
My downstairs neighbor is constantly complaining about the noise. Once she even called the cops and reported child abuse when my 3yo put up a big fuss about going to bed. Really humiliating experience. I understand that some people are sensitive to noise.
Would she be willing to trade apartments with you? Sure, she'd still hear the baby crying, but the running & playing might not bother her as much if she was upstairs instead of down.
