What is the the best oil to put in my 2003 Ford Mustang convertible?

79000 miles. 62000 miles on current engine. I just bought it and I'm assuming 5w 20 only?

I would stick with factory recomendations until the car begins to use oil. The lower the number 5/20 the thinner the oil. As engines get mileage on them they can start to burn and or leak oil. You can go to a thicker grade of oil and decrease the oil
