can a 350 vortec from a 1998 chevy silverado go into a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass/?

I have an engine from a truck i totalled and am looking to put it in a 1989 oldsmobile cutlass. Can it be done and how hard will it be

I must be missing something because the Cutlass is front wheel drive with the 6 cylinder mounted transversely. Wont the 350 be too long and too heavy and not fit the tranny. I'm thinking this might be very tough.
