How to change the thermostat in a 98 Ford Taurus?

follow the upper radiator hose to were it connects to the engine that is the thermostat housing,be sure to open the small radiator petcock valve at the bottom of the radiator(be sure vehicle is cool)remove hose from thermostat housing,remove thermostat
