I Got Into a Car Accident...Need Attorney's Advice!?

In Nov. 2006 I got in a car accident on the highway. Put simply, I hydroplaned and spun across all lanes and got hit from behind. At the time I was 20 and never having been in a car accident I was very scared. I stayed in the car until the police came.

If the car you were driving was insured, then you WERE insured. The insurance covers every licensed driver. The only way anyone can attach (claim your tax refund for a debt) is if that person or company has a court order saying that you owe the money.

Kinney will be the first to admit that it couldn’t have happened to a more ordinary guy. He is 40, pleasant, friendly and intelligent while still slightly self-conscious about the whole idea of doing an interview. He lives with his wife, Julie, and their two boys, Will, eight, and Grant, five, in Plainsville, a small town in Massachusetts that, from his description, lives up to its name pretty well. He is the local Cub Scout master, and has yet to give up his day job on a website aimed at children. The books, he says, are still something he does on the side, during evenings and weekends. 'I guess you could say it’s my hobby.’
