With their latest project being based on the Mini Cooper JCW, the German vinyl wrap specialists at CoverEFX is presenting us with two very special “British” vehicles, named the JCW GP R53.

The two Mini Coopers definitely have something special in them but what we don’t understand is why were they named the GP R53; they don’t have 53 horsepower and they don’t have just two wheels, but even so, we still like them. As you can see in the images below, one of the cars has a yellow and black theme while the other adopts a blue and black exterior look, but besides the visual upgrades, the two Mini Coopers also pack some extra power under their hoods.

According to the manufacturer, the CoverEFX Mini Cooper JCW GP R53 (long name) comes with a mcchip-dkr software which is lifting the power by 17 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque and thanks to the new stainless steel exhaust system, the model is developing a total output of 234 horsepower which should be enough to put a smile on your face. Other goodies fitted on the Coopers are the Bilstein B14 suspension kit and the new 17 inch OZ Racing alloy wheels. Inside we can find the Alcantara leather which is covering the Recaro sport seats. We don’t have any info on the price tag yet, but we don’t expect the Mini Cooper JCW GP R53 to be cheap.
