2004 dodge stratus and thermostat goes up when driving?

i have a 2004 dodge stratus and the when im driving the thermostat goes up and im not sure what is happening i need help please
ooops i mean the tempature goes up when driving!!

You must mean the temperature goes up? if the thermostat were going up it would be blowing through the radiator. When is the last time you had the colling system checked/flushed? A stuck thermostat could blow a hose and is easy to replace if you attend
